This is Holly. She’s very social and when visitors arrive at our house, she always comes out to greet them. Her favorite places to sit and pass the time are on the backs of our chairs. Here she is, sitting on the top of one of the leather recliners in the family room. I tapped on the window that sits behind the chair to get her attention. In the second picture, you can see in her eyes that I startled her.

This is Tigger. He’s very skittish and typically doesn’t let anyone get too close to him. On this day, he was feeling particularly tolerant of me and my camera.

This wind chime hangs outside my front door and plays a gentle song when a breeze blows through.

I took a walk through the park reserve last Sunday. Winter was fading away and the park was just starting to come back to life. The trees seemed to be watching themselves in the reflection of this puddle that was formed by the melting snow.

I love the way the back sides of these leaves contrast with theirĀ bold, brown faces.

The flowers haven’t blossomed yet. There is still a predominant absence of color, which makes this all the more beautiful in my eyes.
